Quotes of the classics

Drink me! Illustration by John Tenniel, 1865.

So many out-of-the-way things had happened lately, that Alice had begun to think that very few things indeed were really impossible.

Lewis Carroll,

Golden List

We recommend books for reading to children from our “Golden List.”

“Golden List” is not composed once and for all.

It consists of books which, in our opinion, teach children something good, provoke reflection or laughter, perfect child’s language, develop imagination, present good behavior models – of kindness, honesty, wisdom and courage. When we come across books, which seem to be better than those on the list, we replace them or add new titles. We encourage you to share your comments, impressions and reports on how children react to particular books, what they like and what is not interesting for them.

We would also appreciate your proposals of books that should become a part of the “Golden List”.
